fortune cookie numbers win lottery

Lucky Numbers (Lotto) from Fortune Cookies 🙂

Fortune cookie quotes sometimes have lucky numbers or lotto numbers on the front or back of the message. These numbers are coming straight from those fortune cookie messages.

Lucky Numbers for Gamblers

If you take a poll of people who play online slots and other casino games, the odds are great that many of them believe in lucky numbers or other rituals they religiously follow every time they gamble. Much of the appeal of gambling is hitting winning streaks when it seems impossible to lose, and in many cases there’s no better explanation than it was your lucky night; once you place your bets, buy your lotto ticket, or spin the slots, whether you’re a winner or not is completely up to fate.

As far as finding lucky numbers, getting lotto numbers from fortune cookies is one of the most common places where you’ll find lucky numbers to use. Some people don’t like this method as it’s not very personal and seemingly random, but if you believe in the power of messages from fortune cookies there’s no reason to ignore the numbers on the back if you’re a lotto fan. If luck is simply the way of the universe rewarding you, why not deliver your good luck in a fortune cookie?

Other gamblers look elsewhere for their lucky numbers, with many cultures believing in the power of certain numbers. Western and Japanese cultures have long believed in the power of the number 7 to bring good luck, with the sinister number 13 bringing its own portion of bad fortune. Chinese culture has its own lucky numbers — including 6, 8, and 9 — but these are based on the fact that the word for the numbers sounds similar to other positive Chinese words, so it’s more a case of good luck by association.

Other people take a more personal approach when it comes to finding their lucky daily pick 3 numbers, choosing instead to pick their own numbers based on important personal details such as the age of their children, birthdays, and other number-based events. Many will play the same set of numbers they’ve picked over and over and over, as it lets people personalize the process of picking their numbers and lets them feel like they have at least some small measure of control over their fate.

Lotto numbers from the back of fortune cookie quotes.

A Man Won The Lotto And His Numbers Were Based On. A Fortune Cookie

His reaction was adorable.

Not sure about you, but I never really know what to do with my fortune cookie numbers. Do I write them down? Do I memorize them? Do I throw the paper in a little box somewhere? It turns out the best way to use them is. in the lottery.

If you don’t believe me, just ask Charles W. Jackson, Jr. Who, you ask? Oh, just this 66-year old retiree from North Carolina who happened to win $233 million playing Powerball with his granddaughter’s fortune cookie numbers! That’s right, you heard me—$233 million!

According to WRAL, Jackson doesn’t watch the news and had no idea how much the lotto he’d entered was actually worth. And even after the winning numbers were announced, he didn’t see the last digit, so he mistakenly thought that he’d won $50,000 (which, not bad, but still). It wasn’t until looking back at all the numbers that he realized he’d matched. Every. Last. Digit.

That’s when his wife told him to hit up Google and figure out how much this thing was really worth. “You ain’t going to believe this—I got it all,” he told her when he’d done his research. But it doesn’t end there.

During a news conference at the North Carolina Education Lottery headquarters, Jackson was so humble about winning the lotto. He told reporters, “I don’t know what to do with it. I hope it don’t change me a lot…I’m still going to wear my jeans—maybe newer ones.”

. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

He then went on to comment that he actually does want to donate some of the money to charity, as well as use another portion of it to take his wife on a trip Vietnam. Lastly, he and his brother made a deal that if one of them ever one the lottery, they would give the other $1 million.

All of these plans are incredibly noble. Let the record show I would’ve spent it all on take-in.
