“What goes around, comes around “

Meet the Dennehy Family.

And Now A Fun Way To Help – The Karma Lottery:

“Help us make a difference in one child’s life, and we change that child’s world. Help us make a difference in many children’s lives, and we change our world.” – Joe DiDonato, The Orphan Foundation

About This Fundraiser

Instead of charging you to attend a fancy black and white event, and then giving you a lavish dinner that cost us about 1/2 of the ticket – we have a different approach. In exchange for your donation, we will ‘gift’ you an Arizona Lottery ticket instead of that lavish dinner. And although it will still cost us 1/2 of your donation, you’ll have a chance at something more than a full stomach for one night. The larger the donation – the larger the lottery ticket gift we give to you. You may win big. You may win small. And you may not win at all. But for sure, this act of kindness will certainly impact your karma.

And what is karma? Simply put, “What goes around, comes around.” It is the thoughts and actions that you take today, that you experience the consequences of later. So what are you waiting for? Isn’t it time to send some good karma your way?

How To Enter:

(1) You must be 18 years of age or older, and you can participate EVEN INTERNATIONALLY, as we’re buying the tickets for you in Arizona;

(2) Send a donation amount of any size, and you’ll also be asked to provide your name, address, city, state, and zip code.

((3) Arizona allows players to multiply their winnings up to ten times their non-jackpot prizes with the enhanced Powerball Power Play multiplier These prizes can be multiplied 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10* times. Winning the Match 5 prize (all 5 white balls) still pays $2 million regardless of the multiplier number drawn.

*The PowerPlay 10 (10X) feature will be available when the annuitized jackpot amount is $150,000,000 or less.

(4) All Arizona Lottery rules apply, and this offer is void where prohibited by law. To find out more details on the Mega Millions game, as well as the scratch tickets please go to

(6) Contact: If you have any problems with this fundraiser, please call our Karma Lottery coordinator at +1 (805) 823-3552, and we’ll take care of you.

NOTE: We are not a lottery ticket agent, and as such, we do not get 5% of the ticket price, nor 1% of the winnings. We do have to pay 5% to the lottery commission for organizing this fundraiser, and any credit card processing fees.

We sure wouldn’t object to your sending a small percentage of your winnings our way! However, this is not a requirement to enter the contest.

The Karma Lottery is a fundraiser that The Orphan Foundation established to help with their mission of finding loving homes for the world's orphans – especially those children with "special needs."

Good karma led to life-saver’s lottery win

Thursday 14 May 2020, 11:39am

A key worker who helped save the life of a policeman who had a heart attack on the bus during lockdown is celebrating a £1 million Lottery win.

Anthony Canty said he told the officer, who has since recovered in hospital, about his EuroMillions win in the May 5 draw.

“I phoned him on the win and he said ‘good karma happens to good people'”

The father-of-two has worked throughout lockdown as an engineer maintaining the water quality for hospitals and care homes in central London.

On the bus home from Witham train station to Maldon one evening in April, a policeman who had also just finished his shift collapsed.

The couple spoke to the National Lottery about the win

“We were just on our way home one evening, just talking and he just dropped down. in my lap”

He said he rang the bell to stop the bus and gave the officer CPR with the help of the 999 operator and first aid training he had at work.

The officer was airlifted to hospital and spent five days in intensive care.

Mr Canty said he stayed in touch with the officer’s partner while he was in hospital and dropped off fruit and flowers, and kept in contact after he recovered.

Mr Canty’s partner Katie Sullivan, 32, said: “He said that Anthony’s part of his family now.

“He said he’s forever grateful as if it weren’t for Anthony he wouldn’t be here today. It’s just amazing.”

Mr Canty rang his partner while he was on the train into work after he checked his ticket on his National Lottery app, but initially thought he’d won £100,000.

“I called Katie to tell her the good news but she wouldn’t believe me and thought I was winding her up, so I gave her the numbers to check for herself,” said Mr Canty.

“I heard her log on and then she started screaming, and said ‘You div, it’s one million, we’re millionaires, you have to come home!”‘

He took the day off work while the news sank in and they celebrated with a bottle of Prosecco in the garden before sharing the news with friends and family.

Mr Canty plans to continue in his job, which usually involves a commute by train in to London and taking the Tube, though in recent weeks he has been catching an earlier service so there is less contact with other people.
