Great place to watch a game at night. Great music and chill atmosphere. The steak and cheese sandwich was AMAZING . The neighborhood on weekend evenings is crowded with people going to neighboring clubs.
Literally stumbled into Lucky Bar after returning to Topaz Hotel. What we liked best was that the people around us looked and acted like us — small town people. Most of the places we went to in DC we felt out of place. Seriously tourists. Great music and great booze. Expensive, but great people/music and worth it. Our only regret, not hitting up this club next-door which looked to be one fun option!!
A mob of us dropped into Lucky Bar after a conference function. It was very late and they were about to close. Seeing our need (and numbers) they agreed to stay open and consider us to be a Private Party. IPA beer was great, service was very friendly despite our noisy and inebriated state and the area in the back worked well for us to sit and chat after our earlier function. Thanks guys for letting us in and staying open longer than usual.
