Nebraska Lottery players can take part in Powerball, Mega Millions and 2by2, but they also have a number of in-state games that could net them big cash prizes!
MyDaY is an interesting game that uses a calendar format to select the winning numbers. Tickets cost $1 each and drawings are held Monday through Saturday. Players select one number from 1 to 12 for the “month”, a number from 1 to 31 for the “day” and two numbers between 0 and 9 for the “year”. To win the top prize of $5,000, you have to match the “month”, “day” and “year” drawn. All date combinations chosen have to be valid options for a twelve-month calendar – so options like February 31st are out! You can only choose February 29th for years divisible by four or for years ending in “00”. Lower-tier prizes are paid out for matching any combination of the month, day or year drawn. Here’s what you could win:
|Match||Prize||Odds of Winning|
|Month + Day + Year||$5,000||1 in 36,525|
|Day + Year||$365||1 in 3,320|
|Month + Year||$52||1 in 1,240|
|Month + Day||$12||1 in 369|
|Year||$7||1 in 113|
|Day||$4||1 in 34|
|Month||$1||1 in 13|
|Odds of winning any MyDaY prize are 1 in 8.17|
Nebraska Pick 5 is quick and easy. All you have to do is pay $1 per ticket and select five numbers from 1 to 38 or choose a Quick Pick if you’re feeling a bit indecisive. Drawings are held every day and the jackpot starts at $50,000. The top prize will roll over and increase in value until someone wins by matching all five main numbers drawn!
|Winning Tier||Prize||Odds of Winning|
|Match 5 of 5||Jackpot||1 in 501,942|
|Match 4 of 5||$450||1 in 3,042|
|Match 3 of 5||$9||1 in 95|
|Match 2 of 5||Free $1 Quick Pick Ticket||1 in 9|
|Odds of winning any Nebraska Pick 5 prize are 1 in 8|
