New Years Eve Bingo Game for Kids

Has Christmas sneaked up on anyone besides me? Life has been so crazy that I can’t believe Christmas is in less than a week. I’m not ready! I can’t help you with your Christmas shopping, but I can help you get ready for New Year’s Eve. If you read my blog regularly, you know I’m a fan of Bingo. Well, it’s about time I created a New Years Eve Bingo game!

New Year’s Eve Bingo Game

It can be really tricky to find family-friendly activities for kids on New Year’s Eve. A few years ago, I created a great collection of ideas (you should definitely check it out here), but I wanted to add one more: Bingo!

This New Years Eve Bingo game includes 6 unique boards and calling cards that are perfect for family fun or small group entertainment. (If you need more cards, you can get a full set of 30 game boards in my Etsy store.)

Here’s a list of the images on the New Year’s Eve bingo cards:

  • Happy New Year — Free Space
  • Fancy Girl
  • Fancy Boy
  • Reindeer
  • Silver Stars
  • Pink Flower Burst
  • Pink Ice Cream Soda
  • Blue Ice Cream Soda
  • Fireworks
  • Gold Streamer
  • Pink Mask
  • Happy New Year Boy
  • Happy New Year Girl
  • Party Hat
  • Ornaments
  • Clock
  • Hearts
  • Balloons
  • Firecrackers/Rockets
  • Glass of Sparkling Cider/Champagne
  • Box of Exploding Fireworks
  • Headband
  • Noisemaker
  • Gift Box/Present
  • Gold Star

How to Play:

Since this game is obviously different than traditional Bingo, here’s how it works: Cut the two pages of calling cards into individual cards and put them into a bag or hat. To play, pull a card out of the hat and call out what is on the card (or just show the card). Players look for that picture on their card and cover it up. Continue pulling cards from the bag one at a time until someone gets five in a row. (You cannot play blackout because every card has every picture on it. This game is meant to be played for traditional five-in-a-row bingo only.)

What’s the best part about this game (besides the fact that it’s so darn cute)? It’s absolutely free! Just click and print.

Free Printable New Years Bingo

Playing bingo at holiday parties has become a fun tradition in our family. This Free Printable New Years Bingo will be a fun way to celebrate on New Years Eve and is sure to keep the kids entertained.

Print out the Blank New Years Bingo Set, which comes with a blank card (with the “free” space already added), 24 bingo pieces, and the calling cards.

Cut the bingo pieces by following the lines. Glue the pieces wherever you want on the card with glue stick until all the spaces (except the “free” space) are covered. This would be a fun activity for older kids to do all on their own. Younger children will need some assistance with the cutting.
