Identifying Members

Members of the Scratch Team on the Scratch Website can be identified by the asterisk (*) next to their username. [8] Also, under the ST member’s username will be the words “Scratch Team.” In the Scratch Forums, the words “Scratch Team” appear underneath the profile picture of what the member posted. Some retired Scratch Team members do not have an asterisk next to their username.

Contacting the Scratch Team

One can contact the Scratch Team through the Contact Us form found at the bottom of every page. The Contact Us link is for more private or serious concerns, which should not be posted publicly. For less serious concerns, or for other reasons of contacting them, one can use a Scratch Team member’s profile page.

Joining the Scratch Team

The jobs page [9] in the footer lists jobs currently available for those wanting to work on the Scratch Team. Being a member of the Scratch Team is a paying job, so applicants must be at least 18 (or work at or be a student at MIT) and have the authorization to work in the US. Applicants must be skilled in the role they want to work at (programming, moderating, etc.), and in some cases may have to commute to the MIT Media Lab located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

How To Play

Once you sign up for the Aurelio’s Pizza Rewards program he/she will be deemed eligible for one game per day.

By downloading the Aurelio’s Pizza app on his/her Smartphone, entering necessary information to become a player, clicking on the “Games” section within the app, and then click the Scratch, Match and Win logo to play.

Players will pick one of the 8 Scratch Me circles to uncover and image and then pick one of the remaining 7 images. If the two images match, the player has won. If they do not match, the player has lost.

On a Smartphone, players will move their finger in a scratching motion to reveal images underneath two Scratch Me circles. If the images match, a screen will pop up congratulating the player and giving them the option to share the win via social. If the images do not match, a screen will pop up telling the player to try again tomorrow and will redirect back to the Games section of the App.
