Mega Millions lottery: Did you win Tuesday’s $86M Mega Millions drawing? Results, winning numbers (10/20/2020)

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $86 million with a cash option of $66.6 million.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 46, 54, 57, 58 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 10 with a Megaplier of 3X.

No one hit the jackpot, nor were there any second-prize, $1 million tickets sold across the country, according to MegaMillions.com.

No one across the country hit Friday’s $77 million drawing. There were second-prize $1 million tickets bought in Florida and Oregon. Each matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.

In New Jersey, a third-prize, $10,000 ticket sold at R & R Fuel Inc. on Hudson Avenue in Union City matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Friday’s winning numbers were: 27, 32, 50, 52 and 57. The Mega Ball drawn was 12 with a Megaplier of 5X.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2 each and in New Jersey must be bought by 10:45 p.m. on the evening of the drawing. The odds of a ticket hitting the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 shot to win the second prize of at least $1 million by matching five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The New Jersey Lottery office in Lawrence reopened last month to the public by appointment. You can still claim your winnings — provided they’re less than $599.50 — in person at any retailer.

The lottery is also accepting mailed claims, though officials warn payments might be temporarily delayed. Winners are advised to make copies of the claim form and the winning ticket for their records.
