OFFICES / CLAIMING A PRIZE
Wisconsin Lottery is committed to processing winning tickets for our players. At this time, you can redeem winning tickets by mail. In-person redemption is available only if you have an appointment at the Madison validations office. In order to practice social distancing, there are a limited number of appointment times available and same day appointments are not available. Please call 608-261-4916 to discuss available appointment times. Note: Dane County requires people five years of age and older to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth when in public. Please remember to wear a mask when redeeming winning tickets in the validations office.
The Madison validations office, located at 2135 Rimrock Road, Madison, WI, is currently open with office hours from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, by appointment only . Walk-in claims are not allowed. Call (608) 261-4916 to make an appointment. The Milwaukee validations office, located at 819 N. 6th Street, Milwaukee, WI, is currently unable to redeem Wisconsin Lottery tickets.
Mail the signed winning ticket and a completed claim form to:
PO Box 777
Madison, WI 53774
If using the mail, we recommend making a copy of the front and back of your ticket to keep for your records (or take a clear photo of the front and back, using a smartphone), and then use certified or registered mailing to track the envelope. Winning tickets below $600 may still be redeemed at retail locations.
POWERBALL CHANGES AND MEGA MILLIONS CHANGES
On April 2 and 3, the Powerball Product Group and Mega Millions Consortium announced changes that are needed to ensure ticket sales can support the jackpots and other prizes. Starting the week of April 6, jackpot amounts and increases will be determined based on game sales and interest rates on a drawing-by-drawing basis.
To minimize risk and ensure social distancing, Lottery field marketing staff will be visiting retailer locations on a limited basis. In addition to these limited visits, field marketing staff will continue contacting retailers by phone or email to make sure retailer needs are met. Retailers can continue to contact their representative via phone or email with any questions. At this time, retailers will continue to receive calls from our telemarketing staff and ticket orders will be delivered the next business day. Please note: calls may come from an unfamiliar number. Telemarketing representatives will identify themselves and verify information with retailers on each call. Changes and updates will be posted on this webpage (wilottery.com/covid-19).
The player hotline remains open. Please call 1-608-266-7777 or email with any questions.
Please call the players hotline, 1-608-266-7777 , or email us.
Thank you for your patience, trust, and confidence as we all work together during this time. Stay healthy and please let us know if you have questions.
Super 2nd Chance
A weekly chance to win $1,000 with non-winning tickets!
How it Works
Every Thursday 10 winners are drawn.
Each of the 10 winners receives $1,000.
Any entry not meeting ALL qualifying requirements will be disqualified if drawn.
Entries not selected are destroyed after each drawing.
How to Enter
Collect at least $5 worth of eligible non-winning Wisconsin Lottery scratch and/or lotto tickets for which the prize claim period has not expired. Check the instant tickets that are expiring.
Scratch tickets are valid for 180 days from the game end.
Lotto tickets are valid for 180 days from the draw date.
On at least one ticket, place your full name, address, and phone number. Each entry should clearly state one person’s name and address. Mailing labels are acceptable.
Put at least $5 worth of eligible tickets in on envelope no larger than 4.5 inches by 9.5 inches.
Mail envelope to: Super 2nd Chance PO Box 77006 Madison, WI 53707-1006
Tickets exceeding $5 qualify as a single entry.
Example: One $10 ticket would be mailed in a single envelope for one entry.
One envelope equals one entry and is valid for a single drawing.
Players may enter as many envelopes containing at least $5 worth of eligible tickets as they choose, but each envelope must be mailed separately. Players may not win more than once in the same drawing.
Every Thursday, 10 eligible winners are drawn. Each of the 10 winners will received $1,000.* Entries not selected are destroyed weekly.
